Type Y to the question about checking for file corruption if you're starting the program for the very first time. It could take about 1.75 minutes for this step if your computer has a relatively slow, 12 Mhz., processor. The next screen asks you if you've read the Software License Agreement in the MANUAL.TXT. You must hit ENTER to agree to the terms of the Software License Agreement before the program will start. If you want to bypass the file corruption check and the Agreement assent, because you've already complied with reading the Software License Agreement and the Safety Precautions, then type EXSHARE then hit ENTER 3 times at the DOS prompt and you should go directly to the program's main screen. Each screen has a function keypad showing the keyboard functions available to you. The F1 key is the on-line help function from this screen. Hit the F1 key twice and continue to hit any key to see more on-line help. Hit the F2 function key to see the default exercise routine run. Notice that a status line is displayed under the exercise window. This line tells you how many repetitions have run, which set you're on, which musical composition is playing and the total time you've been actually exercising. The number and description of the exercise is printed under the status line. The function keypad on the left shows what options are available to you while an exercise routine is running. To preview all the exercises you can program into your own exercise routines, hit the F10 function key to quit then R to restart the program. Now hit the F9 function key. Choose 1 and 7 and N to see a demo of all the exercises once. The on-line help will give you descriptions of the rest of the functions for the main screen if you're at the main screen. The on-line help will give you descriptions of the rest of the functions for the editing screen if you're in the editor. If so, reboot your computer using a DOS bootable disk and try again to run the program.
